Start with the panel and the paint
We assess door, hood, roof, fender and other body-panel dents for depth, metal stretching, access and paint damage. A small dent near an edge or body line can require a different approach from a larger shallow dent on an open panel.
When paintless dent repair makes sense
Paintless dent repair reshapes suitable damage without refinishing the panel. It can be an option for door dings and hail dents where the existing paint remains intact and access allows the work. Sharp creases, stretched material, earlier repairs or broken paint can limit suitability.
Conventional repair and refinishing
Where paintless repair is not suitable, body repair and refinishing restore the panel together. Some damage requires replacement instead. We explain the options at the estimate and check adjoining areas rather than treating each visible mark in isolation.
Questions about dent repair & paintless dent repair
Will every dent qualify for paintless repair?
No. Paint condition, location, depth and access all matter. An inspection determines the appropriate method.
Can you repair a dent with scratched paint?
Yes. Damage through the finish generally needs paint work as well as dent repair; we assess both together.
Do you handle hail dents?
Yes. Hail damage can affect many panels. We assess the full vehicle and discuss paintless or conventional repairs as appropriate.
